Share Your COVID-19 Experience
Community Conversations, New Jersey’s COVID-19 Storytelling Project, is a collaboration between the NJ YMCA State Alliance and NJ Department of Health to gather NJ residents’ accounts of navigating the COVID-19 pandemic: how we’ve struggled, survived, and how New Jersey should – can – improve. By listening to these accounts, we can better support our State’s healing process and form the building blocks of a more resilient, compassionate, and Healthy New Jersey.
We want to hear from members of our NJ communities about experiencing the pandemic, including recipients and providers of emergency and essential services, community organization staff, volunteers, and public servants – especially from those who have experienced increased marginalization or have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
Whether you are an organization or an individual, there are multiple ways you can get involved. You can gather stories from communities or tell your own story of experiencing the pandemic, through interviews, focus groups, social media dialogues, creative submissions, or research.
