Join us at the 2022 Early Relational Health (ERH) Summit to hear from national experts and learn how foundational relationships between young children and their caregivers impact physical health, child development, social well-being, and resilience.
This summit is designed to bring together forward-thinking pediatric healthcare professionals, early childcare providers, community and family partners, government leaders, and policy advocates for a collaborative day of learning and innovation.
Focused on the latest research, programs and policies, a diverse group of changemakers for relational health will engage in timely conversations on promising initiatives underway here in New Jersey and across the nation.
Our goal is to exchange, explore and forge new ideas and connections, and leverage the group's collective knowledge and experience to think differently about how to nurture strong foundational relationships for all of New Jersey's children.
Why should I attend?
By attending the Summit, participants will:
- Gain insight into the latest research and resources on early relational health (ERH) that promote safe, stable, and nurturing relationships between children and their parents/caregivers.
- Learn from the voices and perspectives of parents and families on ERH and include parent voices in identifying gaps and potential action items.
- Become acquainted with key evidence-based initiatives throughout New Jersey that support a strengths-based approach to ERH focused on healing, building resilience and preventing toxic stress.
- Meet and connect with pediatricians and community-based organizations that provide trauma-responsive support and promote healthy child development.
- Contribute to the development of a Call to Action for pediatricians, community partners and policy makers around ERH.
