Everyone’s brain and emotions get dysregulated sometimes, and almost everyone is able to eventually re-regulate. But if you grew up with abuse, neglect or other trauma during childhood, you may get more dysregulated more often, and have a harder time bouncing back, leaving you with a lack of focus and coordination, overblown (or deadened) emotions, and difficulty connecting and communicating appropriately with others.
In this video I talk about what dysregulation feels like — if you know it’s happening, you can learn to re-regulate quickly and improve learning, relationships and well-being.
I’ll be teaching an online bootcamp ALL ABOUT DYSREGULATION and RE-REGULATION. If you’d like to get first notice when registration opens, add your info here.
If you want to get started right away, go to my online course, "Healing Childhood PTSD."
If you’d like to learn the techniques I use to get regulated, go here.
You’ll find more videos on my YouTube Channel...
... and all my courses, downloads, videos and stories at the Crappy Childhood Fairy website.
See you in a few days,
Anna (the Fairy)
