A groundbreaking new play about trauma, TRIGGER, was most recently featured at part of the training and inspiration provided to community members participating in the 4CA Policymaker Education Day on July 11, 2017 in Sacramento at the state Capitol.
Community members were treated to a "clip" performance from the original play, TRIGGER, authored by DeAngelo Mack of the ACN working group, Resilient Sacramento; and acted by a host of youth actors who bring the experience of coping with trauma to vivid life in the play.
To learn more about the play, see this context and the video trailer from the play. The troupe can go on the road, so do reach out if you're interested in bringing TRIGGER near you: triggerstageplay@gmail.com.
