PACEs in Youth Justice

Discussion of Transition and Reentry issues of out of home (treatment, detention, sheltered, etc.) youth back to their families and communities. Frequently these youth have fallen behind in their schooling, have reduced motivation, and lack skills to navigate requirements to successfully re-enter school programs or even to move ahead with their dreams.

The Council of Juvenile Correctional Administrators'Positive Youth Outcomes Committee will host the webinar Blueprint for Change: Education Success for Youth in the Juvenile Justice System. This webinar will focus on research and education issues within the juvenile justice system and will review the Blueprint for Change, an interactive online tool that includes 10 comprehensive goals and corresponding benchmarks to support young people in the juvenile justice system.
