Participants will be able to identify the tricks and tactics sexual abuse perpetrators use through various forms of technology and social media, understand what makes children vulnerable to becoming victims of these tricks and be able to identify ways caregivers can monitor for and support children to recognize and respond to these tricks.

The perpetratorβs mind and who/how they target children: Types of tricks and tactics
Aspects of peer-on-peer abuse and manipulation
Characteristics of children that increase their vulnerability to becoming online victims
How to supervise use children and teens use of technology and social media
Information and skills children need to respond to inappropriate content on social media
