Hosted by Central Florida's Children's Advocacy Center, emotional abuse happens when a child is repeatedly made to feel worthless, unloved, alone, or scared. The impacts of emotional abuse can be long lasting and can damage a child’s self-worth and emotional wellbeing.

In this training you will learn:

The definition of emotional abuse and mental injury
Passive and active types of emotional abuse
How family violence affects children
The various types of emotional abuse
How to prove mental injury
Examples of emotional abuse
