Each September, the Peace and Justice Institute celebrates the International Day of Peace with Global Peace Week festivities and events including peace education, music, guest speakers, and free film screenings in partnership with the Global Peace Film Festival.
The United Nations sanctioned International Peace Day is September 21st. The mission of “Peace Day” is to have at least one non-violent, cease-fire day throughout the world. This year's theme is “recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world.”

This virtual conference is free and open to the public! Global Peace Week is supported by individual donors and corporations. If you are financially able, please support our work by making a donation here.
After registering for the conference, Eventbrite will send an automated email that includes the Zoom link for the conference. In addition to Eventbrite reminders, PJI will also send the Zoom link via email to all registrants each morning of the conference.
