ACEs Coalition is a group of community stakeholders taking action on Adverse Childhood Experiences in Guelph and Wellington County, Ontario, Canada.
Summary: Providing online training for human service providers to raise awareness about adverse childhood experience effects on health and how to implement actionable skills into the community.
Description: This self-directed ACEs & Resilience Training consist of a series of training modules designed to raise awareness and stimulate action among service providers. The modules are free and take about 5-7 hours to complete. The training includes a free toolkit developed to assist service providers in taking action within their communities.
Courses are intended for: human service professionals (including but not limited to), primary care providers, registered nurses, registered practical nurses, social workers, outreach workers and pharmacists
Content is also useful for: educators, including early childhood educators, volunteers working with children and families, or anyone wanting to develop a better understanding of the relationship between early life experiences and long-term health
