And though all of this good news is true, we know from our work with trauma that the “return home” is never so easy: after a year or more of continuous stress, it will take some time for each of us to re-calibrate and find our new normal. In this webinar, we will discuss the research on stress hormones and the immune response, and what to expect from our students and ourselves as the pressure from the pandemic is released. Many issues that have been pushed to the side during these difficult times will now show themselves, in our bodies, in our thinking, and in our relationships.
