Educators Pledge to Teach the Truth (Days of Action)

From August 27 - 29, educators and allies will pledge to teach the truth in actions across the country. In the face of right-wing attacks on the teaching of history and antiracism, we are coming together to say we won’t lie to children and we will teach the truth.

Teachers have organized August actions in more than 20 states and territories, including Anchorage, Alaska, Mesa, Arizona, Springdale, Arkansas, Los Angeles, California, Washington, D.C., Spencer, Oklahoma, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Houston, Texas, Seattle, Washington, and many more. In order to make our voices loud and clear, we hope to see actions (of all sizes — from one person to 100+) all over the United States. The Zinn Education Project website has a step-by-step guide with creative ideas. In addition to the guide, we have two organizers who can provide one-on-one coaching and support. Plan an Action.
