2017 Children's Mental Health Report
Of the 74.5 million children in the United States, an estimated 17.1 million have or have had a mental health disorder — more than the number of children with cancer, diabetes and AIDS combined. Half of all mental illness occurs before the age of 14, and 75 percent by the age of 24. In spite of the magnitude of the problem, lack of awareness and entrenched stigma keep the majority of these young people from getting help. Children and adolescents struggling with these disorders are at risk...

Trauma Informed Curriculum for 13-18 year olds that have experienced trauma?
Hello- I am wondering if anyone has any resources for curriculum or lesson plans targeting 13-18 year old adolescents that have experienced trauma. The goal is to teach them about potential trauma triggers, trauma reactions, what trauma is, resiliency, and personal wellness. There is a lot of information on these topics geared towards educating providers, but nothing for the kids who have experienced the trauma. Thanks! -erin

Erin, I would suggest you consult with the child's trauma therapist. Any child that has a trauma history should (and would greatly benefit) from having a "Trauma Trigger Management Plan." Avoiding triggers creates a fine line to walk. In a classroom setting - I think it's very important to avoid triggers - in a personal confidential and therapeutic setting - where a child may want help processing a trigger - is a different scenario but should only be addressed by a team working with that...

Hello everyone, I am going to add a link to what I like to use. I am clearly biased as I work for another branch of the same company. We are not mandated however to utilize but I do integrate this workbook with other materials which target other relevant topics for my populations. The workbook I use seems to cover many of the topics highlighted. There is also a manual. NeuroLogic® Workbook: You Can Change Your Mind by Kathy Van Horn Hopefully this helps. Heloise

Hi friends. Recently started playing at 21 Bit Casino , and I can say that it's one of the best Australian online casinos I've tried. The nice thing is that you can use cryptocurrency to play - it's very convenient. The range of games is impressive, from your favorite slots to live dealers. Customer support promptly answers questions, which is also a big plus. Overall, a great place for those looking for a quality casino with crypto payments!
