There exists a fundamental lack of understanding and appreciation about Trauma. This article reflects accurately and exactly my sentiment, maybe the time has come at last for Ireland. ACEs and Trauma-Understanding-and-Healing go hand in hand, especially when it comes to adults. Children fortunately respond much better and more quickly to healing - once the threats are removed of course.
As a trauma therapist, this is my Mission. Hand-in-hand with ACEs.
