IIRC Duke University was implementing a pilot program for new mother’s to go home with “nursing assigned” to aide in transition of motherhood. (Also for second time mother’s if firstborn had special needs)This idea, coupled with above, could totally reduce incidences. Identifying those at risk, assessing their needs and early intervention, IMO, are key.
