Helping families cope with the trauma of school shootings

 

More than 214,000 students have experienced gun violence in their schools since the first tragic shooting at Columbine High School in 1998, according to data analysis by the Washington Post. The most recent incident occurred just days ago on May 18th; a student killed 10 people at Santa Fe High School in Sante Fe, Texas.
