Dear ACEs in Pediatrics members:
I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the National ACEs Conference next week in San Francisco! I will be attending the Pediatric symposium. You'll recognize me as the person typing away on my computer, hoping to capture some of the highlights to share later on in blog posts here and elsewhere on ACEs Connection. I've spoken or corresponded with many of you over the last year. It's been my great pleasure in learning from the community, getting ideas for stories and webinars from you all. I'd love to meet you in person and say hello at the conference.
I am sure that the lineup of speakers at the conference, and the connections that everyone makes will spark new ideas, perhaps help form collaborations, and provide new tools for all of you who are working on building resilience in children and their families and at your workplaces.
If you are attending the conference, and are comfortable doing so, please consider sharing your impressions from the sessions in a short blog post. {Here is a link to ACEs Connection writing guidelines for the conference and beyond.) Or, please let me know if you have any suggestions for topics that you would like to know more about. ACEs in Pediatrics is all about spreading ACEs science far and wide. Here's my email to contact me in advance if you like: ludesky@acesconnection.com
Again, please come up to me and say hello. I'd love to meet as many of you as I can. For those who are unable to attend, a team of ACEs Connection staff members and some other reporters will be writing up informative blog posts from the conference. Stay tuned!
Sincerely,
Laurie Udesky
ACEs Connection staff reporter
