Join the Center for Youth Wellness and ACEs Connection at the 2018 ACEs Conference, "Action to Access", in San Francisco, October 15-17. This conference offers experts and practitioners working in healthcare and other sectors a hands-on opportunity to deepen their understanding of the life-long effects of ACEs, so that they can help build a better future for all children exposed to early adversity and trauma.
Participants will connect with experts in health, early childhood education, child welfare, juvenile justice, education, policy, research and philanthropy, and hear from inspirational advocates like lawyer and advocate Liz Huntley (More Than a Bird), Life is good Playmakers founder Steve Gross, CYW Founder and CEO Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, and ACEs Connection founder Jane Stevens.
CYW will also host a Pediatric Symposium on October 15 for pediatricians and other medical staff who are currently screening for ACEs, or are interested in incorporating screening into their practices. Experts will share emerging research and developing practices for ACEs screening in the pediatric setting.
Don’t miss this chance to lift up stories, inspire new thinking and expand access on behalf of children impacted by early adversity and trauma. Early bird discounts end on July 31, so register for the 2018 ACEs Conference today!
