The R.E.C. Room provides teens ages 12 – 18 with a safe space to socialize after school and access resources, activities and programs available for youth in the community. The facility offers guitars, computers and Wi-Fi, X Box Kinect, air hockey, and other games. Free ongoing programs include cooking club, digital music production classes, and writing workshops. Staff are available to help youth connect with local resources for a variety of concerns, such as GED preparation, finding a summer job, or getting help for crises like violence or homelessness.
