Houston – August 21, 2019 – The premiere radio program of Breaking the Silence with Dr. Gregory Williams was broadcast worldwide live this past Sunday evening and now is being released to over 120 podcasts networks.
Dr. Williams is on the Senior Administrative Leadership Team at the Baylor College of Medicine OB/GYN department located in the Texas Children’s Hospital Pavilion for Women Hospital in Houston, Texas. He is the author of Shattered by the Darkness: Putting the Pieces Back Together After Child Abuse published by HCI Publishing (the publishers of International Best Sellers A Child Called IT and the Chicken Soup for the Soul series).
Dr. Williams is a well-known speaker and trainer who travels extensively speaking and leading workshops on sexual abuse, toxic stress and the Science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

Carey Sipp, SE Regional Community Facilitator for ACEsConnection.com, a social networking organization and resources website that advances the ACEs Science movement by raising awareness of ACEs and helping to build local, cross-sector communities encouraging trauma-informed practices, was among the first guests on the debut program. She was joined by Dr. Lauren Pitts, author and host of House Talk with Dr. Pitts, and author Kayla J.W. Marnach, speaker and author of the Can-Do Kids Series books.
An upcoming program featuring neurofeedback pioneer and Brain- Trainer founder, Pete Van Deusen; Mary Giuliani, speaker, author, and Business Development Coordinator with Brain-Trainer; Dr. Sharrie Hanley, a longtime neurofeedback trainer who works with suicidal veterans, among other populations, and Stacey Breitmann, who shares her amazing story about how neurofeedback has helped her family deal with trauma, depression, and ADHD, is currently being booked for a September show.
Dr. Williams will be a featured break-out speaker at the upcoming US Journal Training Conference’s 10th Western Conference Behavioral Health and Addictive Disorders on September 26-28, 2019 in Newport Beach, California. He will also be speaking on Toxic Stress and Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences. This prestigious conference also features Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, author of the number-one best-seller The Body Keeps Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma.
Dr. Williams is also a member of the Trauma Informed Healthcare Education and Research Group (TIHCER), one of several hundred communities on the ACEsConnection.com website. TICHER is a diverse group of professional education and research members dedicated to educating health care profession students to become trauma-competent in clinical practice and conducting research that establishes trauma-informed care as an evidence-based practice.
