Bounce Coalition (KY)

Bounce is a coalition of community partners working together to build the resiliency of children, adults, and families by improving knowledge about the impact of ACEs and the skills to help people bounce back from adversity. We do this by: educating and training; measuring impact; and advocating for policies that support trauma-informed communities. www.bouncecoalition.org

We will begin the call with a quick update on the Building the Movement to Prevent Trauma and Foster Resilience Workshop Series and Karen Oehme will discuss a conference that FSU is having, followed by a presentation on earmarks.
Our two main presentations will be Jenny Harper - Director of Federal Government Affairs for the National Service Office for Nurse Family Partnership and Child First - and Kelly Murphy and Lisa Shapiro - Director of Early Childhood and Maternal Health and Senior Advisor for Strategy and Children's Policy at Families USA, respectively.
In addition to the broader efforts on home visiting, Families USA's recently released road map, Improving Maternal and Child Health Outcomes: A Road Map for States to Integrate Evidence-Based Home Visiting into Medicaid Programs, offers a framework for state Medicaid programs to scale up and fund evidence-based home visiting (EBHV) programs to improve outcomes for mothers and their children. The road map outlines options and highlights existing state examples for Medicaid programs to fund EBHV services, from small-scale quality improvement efforts to robust value-based purchasing strategies. We are looking forward to next week's presentations!
After the presentations, there will be time for Q&A with our audience members. Please join us and share the call with those in your network who may be interested! All are welcome to attend.
As a reminder, we record and post our CTIPP CAN calls for those who are unable to join as well as those who wish to watch again!
