Congratulations to all involved in the successful application for funding to support the work of the Buncombe County ACEs Collaborative. The award was made to Buncombe County Health and Human Services to expand the innovative work of the ACEs Collaborative. The county was one of 14 states, counties, and cities selected to receive funding as part of a new initiative on childhood trauma prevention, Mobilizing Action for Resilient Communities (MARC). MARC was launched by The Health Federation of Philadelphia and is supported by Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and The California Endowment. The Health Federation of Philadelphia is holding a two-day training and orientation for the awardees in Philadelphia Nov. 9-10 and is attended by Adrienne Gilbert and Melissa Baker.
