We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well.
We are kicking off our legislative advocacy campaign to pass AB 1117 (Wicks) and secure our budget request.
We will be starting our bi-weekly check-in calls on Fridays from 2-3 pm for those who want to be in the loop with all things Healthy Start, and we will provide a space to share legislative and program ideas to support children and families. For this week's first call, we will discuss our budget letter (attached) and some potential amendments.We are excited to include children below school-age in this program, as well as K-12 students. We hope you all will join us in signing on to the budget letter, and we look forward to discussing it further this Friday! Of course, we are always happy to answer any questions that may come up before then.
