Network in the Sierra Nevada Region to learn about innovative Child Abuse Prevention activities to build family, community and agency resiliency. National representatives from child abuse prevention programs in Virginia, Kentucky, and New Hampshire, as well as Natalie Audage, from Yolo Countyβs Children Alliance, will share their campaigns. Then, hear from your colleagues about efforts to develop successful child abuse prevention activities in the Sierra region, and share challenges.
Learn how important it is to build personal resilience by treating yourself to a TedTalk from Laura van Dernoot Lipsky, founder of the Trauma Stewardship Institute, on self-care for helping professionals.
