San Joaquin County Public Health Advances “ACEing Parenting" Program

"As county health officials look to the future, one key program they are excited about is “ACEing Parenting,” which aims to help parents who are struggling with their own unaddressed trauma even as they are trying to raise their young children in a healthy environment.

A synopsis of “ACEing Parenting” is included in San Joaquin County Public Health Services’ 2018 annual report. The 22-page report will be discussed during Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting.

“It’s our opportunity to highlight what our individual programs have been working on for the last year, the initiatives we’ve been working on, and collaborations with other county agencies, organizations and departments,” county health officer Dr. Kismet Baldwin said Monday."
