I just wanted to share with you what a blessing ACEs Connection is. I found ACEs Connection several years ago as I was newly introduced to the ACEs Study and all of the things we were learning about that. That was roughly around 2015, and as I began to learn more about ACEs, and I was just looking for all the information that I could find, anything to help,I came across ACEs Connection. Ever since then I’ve been immersed in everything I can learn.
ACEs Connection is a wonderful way to not only learn about the issues related to trauma, protective factors, and resilience, but it is an amazing way to make connections with other people who are like-minded, passionate people who are doing this work of becoming trauma informed, resilience-focused. And not just in our state, not just in a small geographic area, but across the nation, and across the globe.
And you begin to build meaningful connections where people are sharing their experience, their lived experience, and there is this collective learning that takes place. And I think that is the power of ACEs Connection is that we begin to see the exponential impact of like-minded people coming together and working together for a cause of helping others to overcome the impact of early childhood experiences in trauma. More importantly how to become more resilient, and to thrive in the face of adversity.
I thank you for what you are doing. If you are listening to me — if you are watching this video — you are involved in this already. I don’t know what level at, but I encourage you to continue to support the work of ACEs Connection because it is a powerful way to continue the work that you are doing, your journey. Thank you.
