Please join us for the next meeting of the Children’s Advocates’ Roundtable on Thursday, September 24 from 12-2pm. Due to COVID, September's meeting will be virtual (see instructions below).
We are pleased to welcome Kate Walker Brown from the National Center for Youth Law and Carly Devlin from Huckleberry Youth Programs to discuss how COVID has impacted CSEC and how advocates are responding.
Christine Raino from Shared Hope International will talk about the recent uptick in misinformation around trafficked children, how it impacts victims of trafficking and what advocacy organizations nationwide are doing to combat the spread of harmful misinformation.
Finally, Angela Perry from The Institute for College Access & Success (TICAS) will join us to discuss the recent resurgence of private for-profit colleges, the dangers they pose to students and what policy advocacy is underway to protect vulnerable students.
The final agenda will be distributed next week - we look forward to seeing you there!
