Policy Actions to Protect Children and Youth in Foster Care During COVID-19 Pandemic

The Child Welfare Policy Round Table will be held virtually on Friday, April 3rd from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. At the meeting, a statewide coalition of child welfare advocates will recommend immediate actions to be taken by the California State Legislature and the administration of Governor Gavin Newsom to protect children and youth in foster care during the COVID-19 pandemic. These recommendations were included in a letter that was sent to Governor Newsom and leaders in the California State Legislature. We hope you will attend the virtual meeting and add your organization's name to endorse these urgently needed policy solutions.
