Join us on Thursday, April 30, 2015, 7:30a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Sacramento Convention Center, Sacramento CA. Breakfast is included in the ticket price and starts at 7:30 a.m.; program begins at 8:45 a.m. The early bird fee is $59 through March 31.

recent reforms, is how to improve outcomes for "high needs" children. But will these reforms achieve the results they are intended to have? What strategies are proving successful in

This year's event features
Pedro Noguera as the keynote speaker. Dr. Noguera is the Peter L. Agnew Professor of Education at New York University. He appears as a regular commentator on educational issues on CNN, MSNBC, NPR and other national news outlets and is an outspoken thought leader on issues of education equity.
Additional speakers will include
Michael Kirst, serving his second term as President of the California State Board of Education;
Kim Pattillo Brownson, Director of Educational Equity at the Advancement Project; and
Ryan J. Smith, Executive Director at The Education Trust - West.
