The California Mental Health Oversight and Accountability Commission's (MHSOAC) Prevention and Early Intervention Subcommittee is hosting public events. Directed by Senate Bill 1004 (Wiener), MHSOAC is leading an effort to advance prevention and early intervention in mental health. MHSOAC is looking for input to establish priority areas for prevention and early intervention programming, develop a statewide strategy for monitoring and evaluation, and create a focused approach to delivering effective prevention and early intervention services to California's diverse communities. In this spirit, MHSOAC is holding several public events starting February through April, including regional listening sessions, public hearings, and forums.
Join MHSOAC staff, subject-matter experts, mental-health professionals, and state and local government agencies to discuss the creation and implementation of a statewide strategy for mental-health data monitoring and evaluation! The next forum series is on March 17th, March 24th, and April 25th and is called Shifting the Current: Advancing Mental Health Prevention and Early Intervention using Evaluation and Technical Support.
