Learning Objectives:
- Introduction of a community resilience framework from a public health perspective.
- Learn to apply the concept of the “Pair of ACE’ (Adverse Childhood Experiences in the context of Adverse Community Environments) in upstream strategies.
- Learn to use the BCR Coalition Building and Communications guide and tools.
- Identify key community and cross-sector partners to develop strategies and tactics to address social determinant risk.
- Identify a community engagement strategy to address social determinants associated with the “Pair of ACEs”
- Identification of key community assets and resources, messaging and policy topics to promote upstream efforts to address social determinants, build community resilience.
