We have the best community. And it feels like a community even more right now when things are scary, threatening, and uncertain. Yesterday, Jondi Whitis shared an amazing resource yesterday, by way of a comment, that's great for parents, survivors, providers, and families (all of us).
I am making it a blog post in case others missed it or are overwhelmed, as I have been, by sifting through the information coming at us.
If love to suggest some resources to you from our Humanitarian Committee, for use in self-regulation and co-regulation. Here is the site, which includes a helpful QuickStart brochure as well as how-to videos and even a PowerPoint and tutorial for offering helpful, informative presentations to your community or group. The home page lets you easily find practices for calming. Here's one example of one practice for those feeling scared or anxious. The video plays on he left and there's accompanying graphics and instructions on the right (also available as a download).
