The Value of Elders

Hello, I'm a retired Clinical Psychologist who will turn 80 this August. Not surprisingly, much of my work has centered on helping people create higher quality lives via developing more resilience & overall effectiveness in transcending previous traumas. In short, I'm interested in individuals & communities becoming as trauma-informed & resilience-informed as possible.

Since elderly individuals often have experiences & hard-won wisdom to share, I am certainly glad to see an Elders Community within the PACEsConnection network. As we know all too well, life in our current world is bringing plenty of challenges. Input from older people can be of special value, both for others within our own generation and for persons in younger generations. I look forward to learning & occasionally sharing whatever ideas can be presented in Elders Community articles.
