Emma’s House, the Bitterroot Children’s Advocacy Center for over 10 years, has a new development director, upcoming events and supportive friends.
Joni Lubke is the new development director for Emma’s House, splitting her time as executive assistant for the Bitterroot National Forest.
Lubke officially started at Emma’s House in early February after serving on the board.
“My two years serving on the board made me have a big passion for what this little organization does so I wanted to help,” Lubke said. “I felt that my talents fit the needs here and I’m excited to reach out to the community and figure out how we can get this done.”
....."We have purchased educational documentaries about Adverse Childhood Experiences and the ACE study and the effects on kids,” Schmidt said. “We work with the Bitterroot Cares for Kids and the plan is to take the trainings to the towns instead of making them come here.”
