Cissy's Note: I asked @Lisa Compton to post this interview here. I appreciate hearing from those who are ACE-informed, and talking about the abuse that happens in churches and examining the way churches sometimes respond to survivors. Compton is encouraging church leaders to become trauma-informed. This quote grabbed me as well.
