What's more interesting than the headline indicates, is how Denver law enforcement, the FBI and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are working with local Muslim leaders to help them protect their children from online stalkers, gangs...and ISIS.
There are two things worth noting here: The recognition that vulnerable kids are vulnerable to many things. It's not about just ISIS. It's about helping those vulnerable kids. And they've learned that "heavy-handed tactics" used in the past in Muslim communities don't work. A member of the DHS civil liberties division says that instead, the intent is to "help build resilient communities".
