The Ethical Self-Care training has been updated, and while I don't have it set up as a webinar yet for CEUs, the video of the live training from 12.29.21 is available here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktkBwFjh5HA for learning purposes. Whether you want to be as ethical as possible in your field, or be more informed and able to hold others accountable as needed, the materials provided in this training are for you.
Description for the training: To optimize ethical practice, it is important to enhance awareness of and minimize ways in which we might be inadvertently contributing harm to ourselves or others. The Connect All approach provides specific strategies for doing this, as well as providing a pragmatic personal self-care framework that contributes to as a community achieving our needs - that as we understand how the world operates, in turn is taking care of ourselves.
It looks at questions like:
For individuals and fields, "How can we work with/for others, if we are allowing, and also in any preventable way(s) contributing to injuries?" Which the materials show, to whatever degree(s), individuals and fields are.

Thank you for today's presentation! As a nurse educator, I was previously familiar with the social determinants of health, the structural determinants of health, historical trauma, diversity, equity, and inclusion as themes in a Culture in Nursing course. However, I had not considered how they also tie to climate change and other global issues that connect us all….I would be honored to invite you to provide this information and nursing Continuing Education Units to our group.
