I am so excited to share my new book, Trauma-Informed Children's Ministry: A Practical Guide to Reaching Hurting Kids, with the PACEs community. This book represents the culmination of ten years of research in the field of children's ministry science. Written at a seventh grade reading level, this practical book illustrates the principles of trauma-informed care using engaging quotes, interviews, and anecdotes from real churches from across the United States. This book explains how the local church, as a community youth-serving organization, can be a place of healing and restoration for hurting children and families. Please share this post with anyone you know who works with children in a faith-based setting or partners with faith-based organizations in their professional practice.
