Provide real time information for those who are in the faith based communities about the need to know about mental health illness, disorders and how to care for those that they love. The focus point are below:
- The Weight of Knowing (how does the weight show up)- Health issues, Spiritual Misunderstanding
- The Hate of Doing (what happens when we don't do something)-
- The Lies we tell ourselves of not getting help (how the lies show up)
- Helping Love Ones Who Have a Mental Illness.
There will be a variety of experts, psychologists, psychiatrist, clinicians, and community resources available. The conference is designed to provide relevant information for those who are believers and need a safe place to share, learn and grow.
There will be breakout sessions as well, and we promise that the content alone will be worth your time. As belivers living in a Community of other faith focused invidividuals, it is important that we deal with depression, suicide, anxiety, trauma, ptsd, and cognitive distortions.
