I was pleased to be able to connect with my friend and colleague in trauma-informed ministry, Sanghoon Yoo (@thefaithfulcity), a few weeks ago to present insights into how trauma-informed care connects with the heart of the Christian gospel. I suffered extreme abandonment trauma and neglect during the first thirteen months of my life due to my father's shell-shock from WWII. He was my primary caretaker as my mother worked as a waitress. I need connection and prayer.
