Hello everyone. I'm from Arkansas and the work with ACEs is just getting off the ground here. We have a workgroup with about 100 organizations involved and they are sharing the data about ACEs nationally and in AR--The last ACEs study showed Arkansas has the highest frequency of people experiencing multiple ACEs. Dear Ernest, It's wonderful that you and your wife are helping this woman! I want to make sure that you know to carefully vet any spiritual counselor to make sure they are trained about the trauma of sexual violation. Many spiritual counselors don't have this knowledge and can bring damaging theological teachings into such a situation. You can also contact your local/state sexual assault center and they can probably provide resources for you as well. All the best, -Sarah
