Fresno, San Luis Obispo, Kern, Tulare, Kings, Marin, and Merced Counties are coming together to close out Suicide Prevention Month with a day full of learning.
Our keynote speaker, Kelechi Ubozoh, was featured in The S Word and is a suicide attempt survivor. She is a mental health advocate, writer and author.
Following the keynote, there will be 3 workshops (including one breakout) and a lived experience speaker's panel. Workshops include:
- The Columbia Lighthouse Project's Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale
- MENtal Health - a discussion about men's Mental Health
- Breakouts (please choose one during registration): Suicide Prevention Messaging OR Safety Planning
6 Continuing Education units are available. (link to follow).
