What We Do & Why You Should Go
With the knowledge that the trauma of our kids' experience can lead to long-term chronic health disparities, we all can play a role in addressing trauma by building resilience. We will learn from various practitioners that are creating unique ways to build resilience among those they serve.
As this mini-conference is a follow up from March’s Trauma Conference, we always want to continually learn how to progress in our work as we become “trauma-informed”.
Who We Are
The Fresno County Trauma & Resilience Network was formed with the goal to help make Fresno County a more trauma-informed region, that in turn, helps build resilience with the kids, families, and neighborhoods our organizations and institutions work with on a daily basis.
Breakouts
We’ll be focusing on these areas:
- Elementary Age Resilience Practices
- Resilience in Reentry
- Resilience with the undocumented community
- Methods for building self-resilience
- Resilience in the workforce
- Building community resilience
- Social Emotional Learning
