Strengthening Student Resilience: Cross-Sector Approaches for Promoting Effective Trauma-Informed and Mental Health Practices

The California School-Based Health Alliance, the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL West) at WestEd, and Kaiser Permanente are pleased to invite you to a free, day-long convening for Central Valley health, mental health, and education practitioners. Join us on October 26, 2018 at the Radisson Hotel Fresno Conference Center for an exciting day of presentations and workshops with a focus on practical strategies to:

  • Implement resilience-building practices that support youth and communities

  • Build the capacity of clinicians to consult with educators around trauma

  • Implement mindfulness-based interventions for student healing

  • Engage youth voice and experiences to improve services and programs

We’re excited to announce the opening keynote presentation from Mary Donnelly-Crocker of Young & Healthy Pasadena discussing how to build individual and community resilience and an interactive closing activity from Roni Habib of EQ Schools on fostering caring relationships and collective wellbeing!

Do not miss this in-demand, no-cost training opportunity. Space is limited, and demand is high. Register by September 28th to secure your spot!

Visit the convening website for updates about workshops, presentations, and agenda. If you have questions, please email us at conference@schoolhealthcenters.org.
