Taking place during the final week of Black History Month, Black HIS-Story Week is a celebration of the stories, resilience, and varied accomplishments of Black men and youth. The idea for the week came from the brilliant mind of Amanda Lynch, author, entrepreneur, and Trauma-Informed Specialist with Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond (BGCMR) and Greater Richmond SCAN .
