Art therapy as a form of self-care
At the first annual Kahewai TIC Summit for 0-5 providers, we were blessed with an optional workshop that employed art as an effective strategy for self-care and healing. This article highlights the effectiveness of art and self-care. Feel free to post your artwork or your strategies in using art as a healing tool and/or for your self-care strategies.

Save the Date!!! TIC 0-5 Virtual Conference 4/21 & 22!
Aloha Kākou! The Kahewai Summit was a success last year and we are pleased to announce the 2nd annual virtual conference! Please spread the word and let me know if you are interested in presenting or if you have a speaker you would like to recommend. The theme of our conference this year is, "Hā" or "breath." "Power of Hope" A team effort!
I don't mean to offend anyone, but there is power in word choice. The word "Resilience" or the description of someone who is "Resilient" at times can be overused.
