Kained (verb)- to have Lara Kain come to your community and create a roadmap to implement trauma practices.

On October 10th, 2018, Lara Kain and graphic artist Stephanie Steigerwaldt traveled to Hutchinson (KS) to assist Resilience Reno County in developing a longer range vision.  It was an outstanding day attended by more than 50 people over 2 sessions.  Lara and Stephanie were able to facilitate deep thinking as those in attendance all participated in related activities.

As the graphic represents, a lot of foundation has been set with plenty of opportunity to build upward.  This is an exciting evolution which allows the team to focus energy on commonly developed goals.  Of course, the challenge now becomes how to prioritize or "chunk" next steps to ensure a continued strong foundation.  While all realize a sense of urgency in a desire to move the vision forward, it has to be tempered with a bit of patience. 

The work begins on October 17th as Resilience Reno County begins to unpack Wednesday's amazing experience.
