Central Iowa ACEs 360 has seen great success in the first few years of its collaborative efforts. As the opportunities to prevent and mitigate the impact of childhood adversity are so broad, the steering committee recognizes the importance of being strategic in its efforts. In January, the committee garnered input from focus groups of state and community partners on the steering committee and the ACEs movement in Iowa. On February 26, the steering committee joined together for a day-long facilitated strategic planning session. As the steering committee finalizes its plan over the next month, we will share our goals for the future!
Thank you to the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines for their grant allowing us to engage an external consultant in this process!
