Over the next year, I'm looking into developing messages around ACEs and healthy child development that can help unify the conversation and engage the broader public. This work is leading me to the question: who do we need to engage with the ACEs research to have the biggest impact in bringing this information to the broader community and inciting community-wide change. It seems like those in the social services and a few other sectors are familiar with the ACEs research but this important information still hasn't reached the broader community or engaged community leadership. Knowing we cannot reach everyone and a defined audience produces better results with a messaging campaign: Who should we target in our outreach efforts to and why? (such as businesses, faith leaders, civic leaders, new mothers, young professionals, etc.) Thanks for your input!
