Now, more than ever, we need to remember that we are stronger together, and it is through relationships that we will survive and flourish through the current pandemic caused by COVID-19. It will require most of us to live our lives a little differently, not just practicing safe social distancing, but reaching out (virtually), doing favors, offering your gifts and resources, and receiving the gifts of others. Our nonprofits and government programs cannot meet the immense need now, or in the months to come, but our community can. Together we can lend each other resources, connection, kindness and care.
We improve the well-being of residents by focusing on empowerment and equity, the prevention of ACEs, and the building of resilience.
