This summer program is designed to introduce students to college dorm life, research, indigenous cultural knowledge, language and landback learning. As part of the program, students enroll in a four unit ethnic studies course at Cal State LA. Upon completion, they earn four unit credits and can do so every summer before graduating from high school.
Honorable conclusion to the Anahuacalmecac World School #IndigeNationsScholars Summer Program at California State University, Los Angeles. Fifteen Anahuacalmecac IndΓgena high school students and six Native Ways 2 College American Indian high school students from across LA County completed an amazingly enriching college preparatory program not available anywhere else.
